Industrial Technical Center Mhlia School in India

One of the school's classrooms
Young women of the school

The all girls school is focused on providing young women with the tools needed to propel themselves out of the limiting farm village lifestyle.

Without the school, young women in the Village of Ailum, are relegated to remain at their parents homes until they are married. And since most would not recieve education beyond 12 years of age, it's a cycle that solidifies their future as nothing more than wife and mother.

They are taught various skills in everything from simple custom tayloring to computer processing. Once a skill is acquired, the young women are assisted in finding a position in the inustry of their choosing.

The support for this school is essential to broadening the horizons of young women tyring to break the cycle of growing up within the farming village.
